TUCO MEMBERS appear to be on a winning streak at the moment, as Harper Adams University took home the prestigious Sustainability in Education Award at the fifth Annual Footprint Awards last week.
The panel of expert judges faced a tough decision selecting only one out of the four brilliant nominees; Harper Adams University, University of Exeter, University of Leeds and the University of Reading, but in the end it was Harper Adams who were crowned this year’s champions in a glittering ceremony.
Each university was judged on a range of criteria including sustainable sourcing, processes, implementation of initiatives and measureable advantages gained through responsible practice, which are all vital elements across the supply chain.
Speaking of the winner, the judges said Harper Adams has a “brilliant initiative supporting every aspect of sustainability and is showing clear benefits”.
We’d like to congratulate everyone at Harper Adams University on their well-deserved win!
