EUREST SERVICES, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has had its National Grid FM contract extended until 2016.
This deal strengthens the two decade long relationship between Eurest and the National Grid.
Under the contract extension Eurest Services will continue to provide a range of services including cleaning, security and foodservices, to over 750 National Grid sites as well as innovative green travel plan.
The travel plan promotes sustainable modes of transport and is currently in operation at three National Grid sites. Innovations include establishing car share groups, a shuttle bus connection between the Warwick site and the train station and coach transport.
Steve Davies, Managing Director for Eurest Services, said; “Over the past four years we have significantly grown the scope and scale of the services we deliver to National Grid, and worked hard to identify and meet their changing needs. We’re delighted to extend this contract and look forward to further developing this relationship as a truly integrated partner for all their soft services.”
Simon Carter, Head of Corporate Property at National Grid also commented; “Our continued partnership with Eurest Services is a reflection of their support in improving efficiency and customer service on our sites.
“Our joined-up approach and consistent alignment with organisational goals will continue to be key in driving further value.”
